Converse Bank will take part as a lead sponsor in the Bank Pekao FI Day & 52nd BACEE International Banking Conference, scheduled for October 8–9 in Warsaw. The event is one of the flagship international gatherings organized by BACEE, the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe.
Hosted jointly by BACEE and Bank Pekao, the conference will bring together senior executives from international financial institutions, major banks across the region, and industry specialists.
The agenda will focus on key banking-sector developments, opportunities for international cooperation, trade finance, risk management, digitalization, and other major issues affecting the financial industry.
Converse Bank will be represented by Nelli Kocharyan, Head of the Financial Institutions and International Banking Relations, and Lusine Balanyan, Head of the Investor Relations and Strategy. Both will also join the conference’s thematic discussions.
Grant Akopian, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Board of Converse Bank and Member of the BACEE Board of Directors, said expanding international cooperation is one of the bank’s strategic priorities. He said such ties help strengthen the bank’s international presence while supporting Armenian businesses through access to new financial and business partners and global markets.
Converse Bank said it is continuing to broaden its international partnerships and correspondent banking relationships. The bank has been a member of BACEE since 2024 and has remained actively involved in the association’s work.
