In China, retail sales of passenger cars decreased by 21.1% year-on-year in July, totaling 1.47 million vehicles, according to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).
This marks the tenth consecutive month of declining sales.
Meanwhile, car exports surged by 88.2%, reaching 923,000 units.
Notably, exports of new energy vehicles (NEVs) increased 2.5 times (148%), amounting to 540,000 vehicles.
