China Southern Airlines has officially opened an office in Yerevan with the aim of expanding its operations in the country and developing air communication between the two countries.
The office in Yerevan will improve passenger and partner services, as well as enhance China Southern Airlines' interaction with government agencies, the airport, tourism organizations, and other local partners.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Chinese embassy in Armenia, the Civil Aviation Committee, the Ministries of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, and the Economy of Armenia, as well as business, tourism industry, and other organizations.
Participants noted the development of air communication between Armenia and China and the role of aviation in expanding tourism, business, and cultural exchanges.
Currently, China Southern Airlines operates six flights a week between Armenia and China.
