The initiative aims to strengthen communication skills in Armenia’s business community.

Newmag Publishing House, at the initiative of Acba Business Club and with the sponsorship of Acba bank, has released the Armenian edition of Pulitzer Prize winner Charles Duhigg’s global bestseller “Supercommunicators.”

The initiative is aimed at developing effective communication skills within Armenia’s business community. The book presents approaches and practical tools that help people communicate more easily with different counterparts, resolve conflicts, convey their messages clearly, and build strong, trustworthy partnerships.

According to Hakob Hakobyan, Director of SME and Corporate Business at Acba bank, one of the goals of Acba Business Club is to develop networking in the Armenian business environment. In his words, the book directly addresses problems that are often seen in Armenia’s business community, particularly communication-related issues, and even applying a single example from the book could make a tangible difference in building business networks as early as the next day.

Artak Aleksanyan, Executive Director of Newmag Publishing House, said people often assume they express their thoughts clearly, only to find later that they have been misunderstood. He added that the book could be especially useful for members of Acba Business Club, many of whom run businesses and need to communicate regularly with a wide range of people.

The publication notes that overcoming communication barriers and building the right dialogue is crucial both in negotiations with external partners, clients and other stakeholders, and inside companies, between managers and teams. The book’s simple but practical techniques are designed to help readers put the ideas into use immediately from the very next day.
