For the first time in the history of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, all ten positions at the top of the ranking of the world’s richest people are held by US billionaires. RBC reported this, citing Bloomberg.

The shift came after LVMH group founder Bernard Arnault dropped out of the top 10. His net worth is estimated at $143 billion, placing him in 11th position.
Bloomberg noted that this has never happened before since the index was launched. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index has been published since 2012 and is updated daily.
Elon Musk ranks first with an estimated fortune of $919 billion. Larry Page is second with $286 billion, and Jeff Bezos is third with $274 billion.
The rest of the top 10 includes Sergey Brin ($266 billion), Michael Dell ($245 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($229 billion), Larry Ellison ($208 billion), Jensen Huang ($181 billion), Steve Ballmer ($172 billion) and Warren Buffett ($144 billion).
According to Bloomberg, most people in the top 10 are tied to the technology sector.
