YEREVAN, September 18. The Junius financial tournament for children, available through the Idram Junior app, has come to an end. According to IDBank’s press service, the initiative gave participants a lively, game-based environment in which to learn how to manage and save money, identify modern forms of financial fraud and protect themselves against them, and use digital financial tools effectively.
Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Idram and IDBank, said participation increased with each new round and that new children continued joining the tournament. She added that some “veterans” took part in every game and consistently aimed to remain among the leaders.
Vardevanyan noted that under the rules, after a first win a participant cannot be named a winner again for the next three months and is eligible only for an incentive prize. Even so, this round also included children who received encouragement prizes and were genuinely pleased with them.
According to the company, the growing interest from children, their strong enthusiasm and the knowledge they gained once again show that Junius, available in the Idram Junior app, is a strategic initiative. It is designed to help shape a financially literate generation and lay a solid foundation for future success.
The Idram Junior app is intended for users aged 8 to 16. It allows children to use cashless funds, make contactless payments, save money and improve their financial literacy, while giving parents a modern and secure tool to monitor their children’s financial transactions.
The company is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
