Junius financial tournament wraps up

The initiative in the Idram Junior app helps children learn money management and recognize financial risks.

The Junius financial tournament, a popular initiative for children, has concluded in the Idram Junior app. In a game-based setting, participants learned how to manage and save money, identify modern forms of financial fraud and protect themselves from them, and make effective use of digital financial tools.

Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Idram and IDBank, said the tournament had a positive impact on participants. According to her, the number of players increased with each new round, while new children continued to join the initiative.

She added that the competition also featured “veterans” of the tournament — children who took part in every game and consistently aimed to rank among the leaders. Under the rules, after a first win a participant cannot be named a winner again for the next three months and receives only an encouragement prize. Vardevanyan said there were participants this time as well who were genuinely happy to receive those awards.

Organizers say the growing interest from children, their strong enthusiasm and the knowledge they gained once again show that the Junius financial tournament is a strategic initiative. It is designed to help build a financially literate generation and lay a solid foundation for future success.

The Idram Junior app is designed for users aged 8 to 16. It allows children to use cashless funds, make contactless payments, save money and improve their financial literacy, while giving parents a modern and secure tool to monitor their children’s financial transactions.

The organizers congratulated all participants and wished them further success.
