The Junius financial tournament for children has come to an end, wrapping up an initiative designed to build financial literacy through a game-based format. During the tournament, participants learned how to manage and save money, identify and protect themselves from modern financial fraud, and use digital financial tools effectively.
Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Sustainability at Idram and IDBank, said the number of participants increased with each new round, with new children joining the tournament every time. She added that the competition also had returning participants who took part in every game and consistently aimed to rank among the leaders.
According to Vardevanyan, the rules stipulate that after winning once, a participant cannot be named a winner again for the next three months and may receive only an incentive prize. Even so, this round also included participants who received incentive prizes and were genuinely pleased to win them.
The organizers say the growing interest among children, their enthusiasm and the knowledge they gained once again show that the Junius financial tournament, available through the Idram Junior app, is a strategic initiative that can help foster a financially literate generation and lay solid foundations for future success.
The Idram Junior app is designed for users aged 8 to 16. Through the app, children can use cashless funds, make contactless payments, save money and improve their financial literacy, while parents can monitor their children’s financial activity through a modern and secure tool.
The organizers congratulated all participants and wished them further success.
