Arthur Nakhshikyan, the Director of the Operational Risk Management Department of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), has been elected as an independent member of the Unibank Board. The decision was made at the annual general meeting of shareholders of Unibank held on June 22, 2026.
Nakhshikyan has held leadership positions in the financial sector, including the Central Bank of Armenia, for the past twenty years.
He is also a member of the Council of the Central Depository of Armenia and the non-profit organization "Center for Economic Development and Research."
The general meeting also approved the following members of the Unibank Board: Gagik Zakaryan (Chairman), George Piskov, Vardan Atayan, Philippe René Mark Delmont (independent member), Ruben Injikyan (independent member), Karine Minasian (independent member), and Arthur Nakhshikyan (independent member).
