Armenian-Turkish Business Forum to be Held in Yerevan

The forum will start on September 3

YEREVAN, August 31. /ARKA/. The forum involving representatives of the business communities of Armenia and Turkey will kick off on September 3 in Yerevan, according to the press service of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia (UIEA).

The two-day forum is organized under the EU-funded program "Support for Armenian-Turkish Settlement: Strengthening Cross-Border Ties".

"The aim of the forum is to bring together representatives of business and government structures of Armenia and Turkey to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation between the two countries, identify new directions and formats of mutual partnership, as well as stimulate the formation of new business connections," the statement said.

Participants will include representatives from various sectors, including tourism, high technologies, transport communications, trade, healthcare, as well as representatives of government structures from Armenia and Turkey.

Discussions and meetings are planned on the topics of the potential for bilateral economic cooperation, the development of business ties, and opportunities for cross-border partnership.
