The cement company Gagik Tsarukyan belongs to has been transferred to the management and custody of the Republic of Armenia by the decision of the Anti-Corruption Court. The General Prosecutor's request was granted:
According to the Prosecutor's Office, the decision was made within the framework of a case for the confiscation of property of illegal origin, which was initiated against Gagik Tsarukyan and related persons:
In the same lawsuit, the Prosecutor's Office demands the confiscation in favor of the Republic of Armenia of:
- 75 real estate properties,
- 42 vehicles,
- shares in 38 companies,
- about 106 billion drams of illegally obtained property and funds:
During the pre-election campaign, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the intention to nationalize the Ararat Cement plant.
