Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a post on his Facebook page, reminding that on June 15, he invited graduates of leading universities around the world to use their knowledge and professional experience to serve in the state governance system of the Republic of Armenia.
“I am pleased to note that the initiative has garnered great interest. A total of 1141 applications have been received. Following the review of applications and preliminary selection, 459 candidates, or about 40 percent of the applicants, have passed to the second stage. The average age of the candidates is 34 years.
Based on the results of interviews and professional assessments, a government personnel bank will be formed, where the education, work experience, and professional skills of the included candidates will be matched with the specific needs of the state governance system.
At the start of the program, I mentioned that candidates included in the personnel bank may be offered job opportunities in the state governance system or other forms of cooperation within the next year. I must note that today I have already made decisions to appoint several applicants to high positions, and you will soon see the de jure implementation of those decisions.
