Two cases of illegal extraction have been revealed in the Armavir region. In the first case, officers from the organized crime department of the criminal police received information that a 53-year-old man, without special permission, was conducting illegal entrepreneurial activities under the pretext of constructing a reservoir and a pumping station. During this period, he illegally extracted about 2200 cubic meters of sand and gravel, which was used in road construction. The state suffered damage of about 2.2 million drams.
In the second case, two limited liability companies, violating the requirements for subsoil use, carried out illegal extraction on an area of over 7 hectares. During the inspection, construction equipment and trucks loaded with extracted materials were found. This case also caused significant damage to the interests of the state and the community.
