Anthropic's revenue surged more than 14-fold in the second quarter from a year earlier, Bloomberg News reported. The AI company reported preliminary revenue of more than $11.5 billion for its latest completed quarter, up from $787 million in the same period last year.
The jump underscores the rapid growth of the Claude chatbot maker as it prepares for a potential blockbuster initial public offering. Anthropic also posted positive adjusted operating income in the second quarter.
In May, Anthropic stated that its run-rate revenue crossed $47 billion, up from roughly $10 billion in revenue in all of 2025.
Anthropic CFO Krishna Rao is leading meetings with prospective investors ahead of its potential IPO, which could happen as soon as this fall.
