The Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX) has summarized the market data for July 2026. The month maintained a dynamic trading environment, highlighting growing investor confidence and market activity.
In July, more than 87.1 billion AMD of bonds were placed on the primary placement platform for government bonds of the Armenian Stock Exchange, while 70 transactions were conducted on the secondary market with a volume exceeding 25.8 billion AMD, surpassing the figures from the same period last year by 759%.
On the corporate bond market, a 118% increase in trading volume was recorded compared to the same period last year, amounting to over 16.5 billion AMD. During the reporting period, 1798 transactions were concluded with 208 corporate bonds circulating on the exchange as of the end of July. This month, an auction for the placement of corporate bonds was held, with a total volume exceeding 2.3 billion AMD. This steady growth reflects a healthy demand for corporate bonds.
On the stock market, the trading volume amounted to over 207.4 million AMD, while the market capitalization exceeded 426 billion AMD. There were 250 transactions concluded with stocks.
The total volume of repo transactions amounted to over 32.1 billion AMD. In July, 218 repo transactions were concluded, exceeding the figures from the same period last year by 548%.
In July, 6 transactions for the exchange of US dollars were conducted on the currency market of the AMX, with a volume exceeding 779.2 million AMD. Throughout the month, the exchange rate price ranged between 367 and 367.9 AMD.
