US Treasury Secretary Scott Besant stated on Monday that any country or organization supporting Iran must be prepared for US sanctions as part of the economic pressure against Tehran.
"And I want to be clear. Anyone who supports Iran will be removed from the US dollar system... These measures impose secondary sanctions on anyone who is foolish enough to continue doing business with that country... Every country, every organization must know that they must be prepared for sanctions from the US, and this applies to everyone," the Secretary said.
