U.S. Strikes Iran Again as Brent Slips Despite Escalating Conflict

Brent prices decline amid new conflict between the U.S. and Iran

The U.S. has launched another round of strikes against Iranian military targets, yet Brent prices have barely budged. Despite the new escalation in conflict, Brent traded at around $84.65 per barrel on Wednesday.

U.S. Central Command stated that the strikes targeted Iranian coastal defense systems, cruise missile storage sites, and military facilities.

Iran has responded with threats to expand its campaign against global energy exports.

Additionally, the U.S. imposed sanctions on seven individuals and entities accused of assisting Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in procuring weapons.
