For nearly 30 years, the 'Araks' poultry farm has been supplying the Armenian market with fresh poultry and eggs daily. The farm produces and sells over 10 tons of chicken meat each day, accounting for up to 40% of the poultry consumed in Armenia, as well as 400,000 eggs, which is more than half of the daily consumption in the country.
The production process at the poultry farm is automated: the feeding of 25 active poultry houses, the transportation of eggs to the production environment, and sorting are carried out using high-quality European equipment. The poultry farm is also one of the market leaders in quality assurance and control.
The partner of the 'Araks' poultry farm is the leading leasing company 'Akba Leasing', which has helped equip the production with necessary machinery and equipment, including trucks, lifts, generators, and a high-capacity solar power station installed by another partner of 'Akba Leasing' — 'San Provider' company.
“The entire production process at the poultry farm is automated. Our products stand out in the market for their high quality and consumer choice, and it is thanks to this that we maintain our leading position every year. The equipment acquired through 'Akba Leasing' allows us to further develop production and obtain high-quality products. We have also installed a solar power station, which allows us to save significant energy,” said Seda Hovsepyan, head of the marketing department of the 'Araks' poultry farm.
“With the financing from 'Akba Leasing', 2550 Jinko solar panels and 15 Huawei inverters were installed at the 'Araks' poultry farm, resulting in a solar power station with a capacity of 1500 kW. The production of the solar power station will amount to 2.2 million kWh per year, which can be compared to the annual electricity consumption of 600 to 700 households,” said Vahan Ohanjanyan, director of 'San Provider' company.
The 'Araks' poultry farm continues to expand its product range and introduce new products. The company is already offering semi-finished products and sausages made from chicken meat to the market.
100% of 'Akba Leasing' is owned by 'Akba Bank'.
'Akba Leasing' is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
