In 2025, Armenia reduced its aluminum foil exports by 5.2%, delivering a volume of 19.2 thousand tons. Meanwhile, the customs value of exported aluminum foil increased by 20.8% to $82.8 million.
The main share of exports went to Germany (67.5%) and Poland (10.2%), followed by the Netherlands (9.9%), Russia (4.8%), Spain (2.5%), France (1.4%), Italy (1.2%), Greece (1.2%), and the Czech Republic (1%).
Imported foil volumes increased by 37.7%, totaling 2.7 thousand tons, with a customs value increase of 60.3% to $14.3 million. The foil was mainly imported from Greece (70.5%), Russia (13%), China (9.8%), and the UAE (2.6%).
In 2025, aluminum foil production in Armenia grew by 4.6%, reaching a volume of 20.6 thousand tons.
