Yerevan: Mediamax: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced new economic and transit opportunities that could be created through the integration of TRIPP with other transport projects.
"Azerbaijan's location in the South Caucasus and Uzbekistan's in Central Asia makes our countries natural partners in important strategic routes connecting the East and the West. In this regard, the integration of the important China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway project with the Middle Corridor and TRIPP will create new economic and transit opportunities for the entire region," Aliyev noted in an interview with Uzbekistan's national news agency.
He also stated that "the comprehensive cooperation forming between Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries is an example of strategic partnership based on mutual respect, trust, and common interests."
