The Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine (AMMC) is one of Armenia's leading industrial enterprises, ranking high among the largest taxpayers in the country.
AMMC's General Director Alexander Belyaev noted that the combine has been in a constant modernization process for the past 10 years.
"Our main goal is to carry out the maximum amount of work during favorable market conditions when raw material prices are high," he said.
Belyaev emphasized that the combine is not slowing down its modernization pace; on the contrary, it is using this period for maximum investments.
"We understand that the market is cyclical, and after a period of growth, a decline inevitably follows," he added.
AMMC was acquired by the NeoMetals group in 2007 and currently provides over 1100 jobs.
