"The ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as efforts to normalize relations between Turkey and Armenia, inspire hope. This creates greater prospects for stability and cooperation in the region," stated Shalva Papuashvili, the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, during his speech at the 67th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), as reported by the APA's bureau in Georgia.
According to him, the region today has great potential to strengthen its role as a center for trade, transport, energy, and digital connectivity.
"To strengthen future cooperation, we must view the current period not only as a challenge but also as a new opportunity," the speaker noted.
