The Minister of Health of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, published a video on her Facebook page announcing that the cases of children poisoning from medicines and household chemicals have increased:
"In the first half of 2025, there were 256 cases, and in the first half of 2026, there were 464 cases. This alarming statistic compels all of us to be more vigilant at all times and everywhere:
Please spread this information and send it to parents you know who have young children," Avanesyan stated.
