Tax Contributions of Major Telecommunication Companies in Armenia Increased by 8.66% in January-June 2026

Major telecommunication companies in Armenia paid 22.21 billion drams in taxes in the first half of 2026

In the first half of 2026, the tax contributions of major telecommunication companies in Armenia increased by 8.66%. A list of the 1,000 largest taxpayers in Armenia has been published, which also includes the leading telecommunication companies in the country.

Viva Armenia (formerly MTS Armenia / Viva-MTS) ranks 19th, having paid 10.41 billion drams in taxes, which is a decrease of 0.39% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.

Ucom ranks 27th, having paid 5.81 billion drams in taxes, which is an increase of 26.85% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.

Team Telecom Armenia (formerly Beeline) ranks 35th, having paid 4.81 billion drams in taxes, which is an increase of 4.66% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.

JENCI-ALPHA / OVIO (formerly Rostelecom) ranks 157th, having paid 1.18 billion drams in taxes, which is an increase of 45.30% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.

In total, these four companies paid 22.21 billion drams in taxes, which is an increase of 1.77 billion drams or 8.66% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.

If we express the volume of taxes paid in US dollars based on the exchange rate of 366.17 drams per dollar as of August 7, 2026, the total tax contributions of the leading companies in the telecommunications sector amounted to 60.65 million dollars.
