According to data provided by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, in June 2026, the volume of deposits in Armenian commercial banks amounted to 8,070,715 million AMD (8.07 trillion). Compared to the comparable figure for 2025, the volume of deposits increased by 1,377,393 million or 20.6%.
Specifically, deposits from non-residents amounted to 1,658,375 million AMD, while those from residents reached 6,412,340 million AMD.
Of the deposits from residents, 67.8% or 4,346,622 million AMD are in AMD deposits, which increased by 30.4% compared to May 2025.
32.2% of the deposits or 2,025,718 million AMD are in foreign currency deposits, which increased by 13.1% compared to May 2025.
