According to data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the revenue in the telecommunications sector for January-June 2026 amounted to 87,400.8 million drams. This represents a growth of 5.7% compared to the comparable figure for 2025.
Specifically, the revenue in the radio programming and broadcasting sector decreased by 0.7%, amounting to 854.8 million drams. The revenue in the television programming and broadcasting sector fell by 2.5%, totaling 4,969.7 million drams. The telecommunications sector saw a growth of 5.9%, with revenue reaching 81,576.3 million drams.
The cable television service and operation sector recorded a decline of 14.7%, with revenue of 3,522.4 million drams.
The mobile communication sector generated revenue of 21,047.0 million drams, reflecting a growth of 3%.
The internet access sector experienced an increase of 8.5%, with revenue totaling 44,583.0 million drams.
Revenue from satellite services (excluding internet) amounted to 1.7 million drams, showing a decrease of 8.5%.
Other services generated revenue of 10,100.1 million drams, marking an increase of 13.6%.
