According to data published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia, in the first half of 2026, Armenia produced 5,163.7 million kWh of electricity. This marks a 10% increase compared to the comparable figure from 2025.
Specifically, the production of thermal power plants (TPPs) increased by 43.5% to 2,031.9 million kWh. The production of hydroelectric power plants (HPPs) rose by 3.4% to 1,346.0 million kWh. The production of nuclear power plants (NPPs) decreased by 23.8% to 939.5 million kWh. The production of wind power plants increased by 44.8% to 0.6 million kWh, while the production of solar power plants grew by 13.8% to 845.7 million kWh.
