In the first half of 2026, 70,936 aircraft flew through Armenia's airspace. This was reported by David Khudatyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia:
According to him, in the first half of 2024, 20,312 aircraft flew through the airspace, in 2025 — 48,051, and in the first half of 2026 — 70,936 aircraft. These figures indicate that in just three years, the frequency of flights has increased by 3.5 times:
"The airspace of the Republic of Armenia is a crossroads of peace," the minister added:
