Former Prime Minister Khosrov Harutyunyan raised the question of what opposition members should do if they take their mandates. He noted that five years of experience has not provided any important lessons, and that the opposition must present demands to have an impact on political processes.
Harutyunyan emphasized that the opposition should have institutional opportunities to participate in the political decision-making process. He stated that taking mandates without presenting demands will yield no benefit.
"Today, there was a life-and-death struggle for 64 mandates because 64 mandates provided the opportunity to have a constitutional majority," he said.
