An investigation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of Lori Province, at the request of the Lori Provincial Administration, revealed that 22 entities renting and actually controlling the territories of Hrant Matevosyan Park in Vanadzor were using them in violation of contract terms and not for their intended purpose. As a result, the park has fallen into disrepair.
This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
A petition was sent to the Vanadzor City Hall to terminate the lease and gratuitous use agreements with the aforementioned 22 entities.
As a result of the petition, on June 4, 2026, the leasehold rights of a legal entity on a plot of land measuring 405 sq. m at 25-1/2 K. Demirchyan Street, with a cadastral value of approximately 4 million 208 thousand drams, were terminated. The plot has been returned to the community's control.
