The initiative, aimed at schoolchildren aged 14-17, seeks to develop fundamental knowledge in cybersecurity, enhance digital literacy, and promote safe and responsible behavior in the digital environment:
With the help of experienced specialists from the Microsoft Innovation Center, schoolchildren became familiar with the basic principles of cybersecurity, modern digital threats, and ways to protect against them:
"For Ucom, it is important to support initiatives that provide youth with theoretical and practical skills for a safe digital future. Today, children and teenagers are becoming active participants in the digital world from a very young age. Our task is to help them be not only active but also protected, aware, and responsible in that environment," said Ucom's CEO Ralph Yirikyan:
"At the Microsoft Innovation Center, we have already realized that cybersecurity should be accessible and understandable to every young person, not just those who will choose this field as a profession in the future. When safe digital behavior is formed from a school age, young people use technology more confidently and responsibly. This mindset formation is the most important outcome of such initiatives," noted Maria Barseghyan, director of the Microsoft Innovation Center:
During the graduation event, the results of the first group of the program were presented, and participants shared their impressions and experiences, after which the certificate awarding ceremony took place:
The initiative continues, and after the completion of courses for two more educational groups, a Mini-CTF (Capture The Flag) cybersecurity-themed competition will be organized with the support of Ucom, bringing together all about 70 participants of the program to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical environment:
