On July 15, in New York, during the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisogomonyan met with UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of cooperation between Armenia and the UN in the fields of peacekeeping and peacebuilding. In this context, they addressed Armenia's participation in UN peacekeeping operations and exchanged views on current issues on the international security agenda, including recent developments and existing challenges in the Middle East.
