The international rating agency Moody’s has upgraded the outlook for Acba Bank’s long-term deposits and issuer ratings from stable to positive, in line with the upgrade of Armenia's sovereign rating outlook.
This rating is equivalent to the Republic of Armenia's rating and is currently the highest level assigned by Moody’s in Armenia.
The assessment was granted to the bank considering the high quality of its assets, strong capital buffer, as well as high indicators of solvency and liquidity.
Moody’s also emphasizes the systemic importance of Acba Bank in Armenia's financial market, as the bank continues to be one of the three largest banks in the country by asset volume.
The bank is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia.
