Converse Bank has completed the placement of EBRD bonds. The AAA-rated international leading financial organization, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and Armenia's leading capital market bank, Converse Bank, announce the completion of the placement of EBRD bonds in Armenian drams.
Converse Bank acted as a key partner for the EBRD, organizing the issuance of bonds and guaranteeing their placement:
The bonds, totaling 5 billion drams, were placed on the Armenian Stock Exchange (AMX) securities placement platform through an auction:
The issuance is part of the EBRD's local currency lending program and aims to expand financing in Armenia and develop the capital market.
After the placement is completed, the bonds will be listed on AMX, and necessary processes will be initiated to ensure their use in repo transactions with the Central Bank of Armenia.
Converse Bank will also act as a market maker, facilitating the liquidity of the secondary bond market and active trading.
