Armenia Bans Export of Quarantine Goods by Individuals for Commercial Purposes

The ban will take effect on July 10, 2026

YEREVAN, July 7. /ARKA/. Starting from July 10, 2026, individuals will be prohibited from exporting quarantine goods from Armenia for commercial purposes, according to the Food Safety Inspection Authority.

"According to the technical regulations of the EAEU, the total weight of quarantine products transported by individuals for personal use cannot exceed 5 kilograms," the statement said.

The agency urged economic entities and citizens to organize the export process strictly in accordance with established requirements, clarifying the phytosanitary requirements applicable to the exported products in advance.

The regulator will continue to carry out consistent monitoring and provide exporters with the necessary consultations, ensuring full compliance with safety requirements for quarantine products and the requirements for their export.
