YEREVAN, July 7. /ARKA/. The graduation evening for the 93rd generation of graduates of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) took place with the support of Unibank, which is one of the benefactors. The special guest of the festive event was the famous artist Soso Pavliashvili.
Congratulating the graduates, NPUA rector Gor Vardanyan noted that it is today's graduates who will write the history of the 93rd generation of the Polytechnic University, strengthening the large community of its alumni with their professionalism, values, and achievements. According to him, the university views them not only as graduates but also as future partners with whom it will continue to discuss issues of university development and the technological and scientific-educational progress of Armenia.
The rector expressed gratitude to the benefactors and partners of the university for their constant support of educational initiatives, students, and the faculty.
The chairman of the board of Unibank, a member of the NPUA Board of Trustees, Mesrop Akopyan, noted that the bank, as one of the benefactors of the university, will continue its long-term and effective cooperation with the Polytechnic University, supporting its development, educational initiatives, and the professional formation of young specialists.
“Unibank places great importance on developing cooperation between education and business, supporting projects that contribute to the formation of a knowledge economy, the preparation of competitive specialists, and the strengthening of the technological potential of the country,” emphasized Akopyan.
A memorandum of cooperation between Unibank and NPUA was signed in 2021. The document aims to improve educational programs and their practical application in the business environment. As part of the cooperation, with the support of Unibank, a laboratory for “Digital Banking” has been created and is successfully functioning at the Polytechnic University, where modern educational programs aimed at training highly qualified specialists for the banking sector are implemented.
