The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, met with ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq, and Qatar, emphasizing the importance of embassy support in strengthening business ties between Armenian producers and importers, major retail chains, and distributors.
During the meeting, opportunities for expanding the representation of Armenian products in Gulf markets, developing logistics and transit routes, organizing B2B meetings, and other areas of bilateral economic cooperation were discussed.
Papoyan answered the ambassadors' questions and listened to their suggestions for further developing trade and economic relations.
It is noteworthy that Russia began imposing large-scale restrictions on supplies from Armenia starting in May.
