Armenia is the second importer of Georgian raspberries

Russia maintains its status as the main market for Georgian raspberries. This is evidenced by statistical data from the Ministry of Environment and Agriculture of Georgia, as reported by "News-Georgia."

According to the data, from May 1 to June 21, the country exported berries worth 15.7 million dollars, totaling 2.2 thousand tons. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased by 13% (by 259 tons), and its value increased by 12% (by 1.7 million dollars).

The main direction of supplies remains Russia, which received 2,097 tons of raspberries — about 95% of the total export.

Next are Armenia (44 tons), Germany (30 tons), and the United Arab Emirates (18 tons).

The average export price was 7.1 dollars per kilogram.
