Armenia Considers Oman as an Export Market for Agricultural Products

New Opportunities for Armenia's Economic Development

Armenia is considering Oman as an export market for agricultural products. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, referring to the results of the meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy Arman Khojoyan and the Omani delegation.

The delegation included the director of KV Group, Abdulla Wahidi, the vice president, Muhammad Al Balushi, and the Armenian ambassador to Oman, Gratcha Poladyan. The parties discussed the prospects for developing trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Oman, as well as the opportunities for exporting Armenian fresh fruits and vegetables to the Omani market.

Arman Khojoyan presented the Armenian government's export stimulation policy, emphasizing the importance of expanding cooperation with Gulf countries. He also spoke about Armenia's potential in intensive horticulture and greenhouse farming.

Representatives of KV Group expressed interest in importing fresh fruits and vegetables from Armenia. As part of the visit, they will tour several Armenian horticultural and greenhouse farms to familiarize themselves with the products and export potential.

The parties agreed to continue cooperation, organize B2B meetings involving Armenian producers, and exchange necessary information to determine directions for further interaction.
