By the decree of the President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Ambassador of Armenia to the United Arab Emirates, Karen Grigoryan, has been appointed as the first Ambassador of Armenia to Pakistan.
This appointment follows the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Pakistan, which occurred on September 1, 2025.
It is important to note that previously, Pakistan did not recognize Armenia's independence due to its pro-Azerbaijani stance.
