Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin stated that the statements coming from Armenia regarding alleged sanctions on the supply of certain categories of Armenian agricultural products to the Russian market are manipulative:
Galuzin noted that several Armenian officials and media outlets present the restrictions as “sanctions” imposed by Moscow. “These are manipulations that have nothing to do with reality,” he said:
He emphasized that the Russian side has always paid special attention to phytosanitary control, and its requirements are well known - the use of local raw materials by Armenian producers, the fight against pesticides, and the traceability of supplies:
