YEREVAN, July 8. The European Union has sent approximately 20 tons of remote-controlled machines for demining to Armenia. These machines will assist in humanitarian demining efforts in areas recognized as dangerous within the republic.
Eduard Petrosyan, the director of the NGO 'Center for Humanitarian Demining and Expertise', stated that this will lead to a significant reduction in risks, a decrease in accidents, and will also contribute to the socio-economic development of the regions.
