EU discusses with Armenian and Azerbaijani authorities the best way to support the development of routes in the South Caucasus

The EU aims to support the peace process in the South Caucasus

The European Union is discussing with the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan how Brussels can best support the development of communication routes in the South Caucasus. This was stated by the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono, at a press briefing for journalists in Yerevan.

Grono emphasized that the progress in building sustainable peace in the region is incredibly impressive, and of course, the EU aims to be a strong partner for the Republic of Armenia as well as for Azerbaijan.

"We are discussing how we can best support the development of these routes, so that all countries are involved, and all residents of the settlements along the route benefit from it," Grono noted.
