650 million dollars is allocated for new Dalma parks, new metro station construction, and transport:
This was stated by Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a working meeting:
“The Government of the Republic of Armenia and the investment committee, which approves the financial issues of large infrastructure projects, have approved 650 million dollars for infrastructure projects in Yerevan, which are directed towards the construction of the Ajapnyak metro station, the complete modernization of the metro infrastructure, the purchase of electric buses for our last phase of public transport, the renovation of 2 depots, the implementation of dedicated lines, and the construction of 250 hectares of parks in Dalma:
This is a crucial and cornerstone decision that took place last week. The government has effectively taken on financial commitments regarding these projects, and the city of Yerevan will implement all these infrastructure projects. We are at different stages with various programs, and the most mature and nearest is the project for the construction of the Ajapnyak metro station. I also understand the skepticism of some people regarding this process, but it should also be understood that any project that has not been implemented for decades loses its knowledge and management capabilities, and our delays are only related to this issue,” Avinyan noted.
