Over 1 million tourists visited Armenia in the first half of 2026

In the first half of 2026, Armenia was visited by 1.041 million tourists, which is 14.8% more than in the same period of 2025.
In June, the growth was recorded at 0.4%, reaching 216.2 thousand visitors.
The majority of tourists are in the age group of 35-44 years (25%), followed by those aged 25-34 years (20%), 45-54 years (18%), and 55-64 years (13%).
Traditionally, the majority of visitors to Armenia are from Russia (40%), Georgia (15%), Iran (8%), as well as China, Germany, and the USA (2% each), Ukraine (1.5%), France (1.3%), Italy (1.2%), India (1%), and others.
